| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Nose is mostly bready with hints of grass and lemon. Pours pale yellow with no head and some light haze. The flavor has a hint of fruitiness not usually found in a lager. This is followed by bread, grass, and a light pepper note. There is a slight metallic note that I picked up towards the end. Light with crisp carbonation. Lingering grassy notes. zathrus13 (1317), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Flavor continues to be very leafy with large doses of doughy malt. However, a harsh graininess and astringency work their way in, along with some diacetyl. In the end, not very good. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Can. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma of diacetyl and grainy cardboardy wheat malt. Tastes alright at first, very sweet though and then a diacetyl and wheaty finish. Blargh, this was pretty bad, especially the diacetyl. A flawed beer.
