| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2009 On tap at new holland. Clear amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is slightly sulphury lager yeast with spicey hops and a little breadiness. Flavor tastes a little bit like a spicey hop tea with a little alc or maybe perfume, a little breadiness. Medium to light creaminess. It has some good qualities to it but as it warms up, it starts to get a little funky. holdenn (1446), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Live rate sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Light aroma some malt slightly earthy, dirty, and sour around the edges. Carbonation feels prickly. Malty flavors biscuit and some citrus with a some odd perfumey alcohol and a spicy peppery finish. That is pretty off-putting. I think the lager yeast allows that alcohol to shine through, which is not an enjoyable thing. drewbeerme (2306), Chicago, Illinois, USA
