Jul 30, 2009 On tap at new holland. Clear amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is slightly sulphury lager yeast with spicey hops and a little breadiness. Flavor tastes a little bit like a spicey hop tea with a little alc or maybe perfume, a little breadiness. Medium to light creaminess. It has some good qualities to it but as it warms up, it starts to get a little funky.

Jul 30, 2009 Live rate sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Light aroma some malt slightly earthy, dirty, and sour around the edges. Carbonation feels prickly. Malty flavors biscuit and some citrus with a some odd perfumey alcohol and a spicy peppery finish. That is pretty off-putting. I think the lager yeast allows that alcohol to shine through, which is not an enjoyable thing.

Jul 6, 2008 on tap at NH brewpub. pours hazed amber with white head. nose is very fruity hop aroma, fruit punchy, lots of phenols, biscuity. mad hatter loaded with phenols. this one didn’t turn out well.
