| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 1, 2009 The beer pours out a cloudy yellowish/orange body with a 2" white sudsy cap. Fruit juice, yeast, a bit of baked bread, with some nice light clove/nutmeg notes. Flavor has some light apple juice notes, a touch of lemon, doughy bread with some light sweetness. Probably better to drink this in the spring or summer, but it wasn’t bad. clingman71 (256), Centerville, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Golden color with an active foamy white head. Aroma of slightly sour/tart yeasty wangy goodness, citrus fruit and a little spice, aroma is good, but a little light. Flavor begins a little sweet, but the fruit, tartness, and spice develop mid taste, finishes with a drying sensation a a little more spice. Again, as with the aroma, I just wish that there was a little more. Subtle is the story here, not a bad thing, but not terribly exciting, good, but not great. bluebetty (124), Australia

Plenty of malt and yeast tones. Finidh is quite dry with a fair amount of hop bitterness. Nice beer. deyholla (721), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Appearance: Pours out a clouded, darkened yellow body with a medium-sized, frothy, white head.
Smell: Mild, airy malted grains in the nose rounded out with a few fruity scents and some nicely fragrant wafts of fresh spice.
Taste: Lightly sweet tastes of light pale malts and delicately tangy malted wheat. An array of subtle flavors graciously pass by the palate: finely-ground pepper, mild cloves, and both lemon and apple peelings. Very appealing! Floral, zesty. lightly citrusy hop character with a smattering of complimentary bitterness. A few sugary honeyed hints dodge in and out and amongst the various flavors. Finishes fairly dry with a lingering mix of citrus, spice, and mild earthiness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation. Some slight creaminess to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A pleasant combination of fine flavors, fluffy (but not too fluffy) mouthfeel, and overall drinkability. Nogne Saison is a pleasant saison -- won’t you give it a chance? sigma23 (235), , Maine, USA
