| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Clear bodied, dark brown color with ruby hue and easily diminishing light brown head. Typical dunkel attributes in the aroma, like caramel malty sweetness,
toffee balanced with medium hop dryness and some typical "Nová Paka kinda" earthy, slightly sulphurous yeast nose (and flavor). Toasted malts and the grassy hops with heavy, roasted, burnt feel at the finish. Medium body, lively carbonation.
More balanced then the other N.P brews .The only mistake what i’ve found is in the appearance. satan165 (606), River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2009 first impression is that carb comes across just like a glass of RC or some other pitiful soda pop. latent bubbles that pop up when they feel like it. aroma is metallic with notes of chocolate and cola. flavor has 1% of a beginning of hops or some spice that might get me riled but it fades so quickly its hard to even articulate what i once felt. metallic nose continues to disrupt the flavor.
