| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 13, 2009 Golden yellow, cloudy. Aroma is a little weak, the usual IPA hop nose, some caramel. Feels a little light in the body for an IPA, but has good citrusy hop bitterness, and a solid caramel background. Balanced finish. Pretty decent IPA. jcr (1172), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Bottle. Deep gold, approaching orange body. Small, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. the aroma is fairly well balanced between caramel malts and grapefruit hops. It also displays some huskiness. But there is not much else to the aroma. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter, though less of a crisp bite than expected. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Slightly above average. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Draft. Amber in the glass with a frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and left good lace. Subdue aromas of pine and malt. The flavor found pine, floral, and caramel. Light body and a mild bitterness throughout. cprochak (418), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 10, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours amber orange. Great aromatic citrus that made me anxious to dive in. Flavor didn’t quite deliver but this had a little caramel backbone and then a Fruity bitter finish. Decent drinkable IPA. phaleslu (535), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 15, 2009 An excellent example of the style brewed close to my home and pretty available on tap - which I find noticeably cleaner, though I still enjoy the bottles. A very well constructed and drinkable IPA that some non-IPA’ers have enjoyed, but retains the definition of the style. gobeers (11), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 12, 2009 Very nice fresh hop aroma with good complexity. Can’t dfine any particular aroma. Citrus/floral/herbal. Poured with a good head, slightly cloudy. Flavor is a bit earthy with hops that follow into a dry finish. As they say a good session beer
