Bottle. Poured near black with a brown head. Aroma had notes of sweet roasted malts as well as some dark fruits (plum and raisins). Flavor had sweet caramel and licorice notes. It also had plenty of roasted malts.

Dark filtered amber, little head, carbonated. Porter like aroma. Hard roast. Flavour: Hard Roasted, dry, not complex. Medium light body. What is the difference between a black beer and a brown porter? (This is my second black beer) Watery/carbonated/fresh AND roasted/dry is for me an odd combination. Purchased in SuperBrugsen, Halmtorvet.

Bottle. Dark brown with medium pale brown head. Long lasting. Aroma initially roasted malts and some sweetness, then dates, figs, plumes. Taste sweet malty, roasted malts, caramel. A fine schwarzbier, reminding a little of a dubbel, so maybe not the most characteristic example.

Huge light brown creamy head. Clear nut brown body. Malty aroma. Burnt-roasted malt. Light bitter finish. Oily thin texture. The flavor is balanced between medium sweetness and light bitterness.
