Commercial Description:
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Thin straw yellow with some bite. Little head. Decent mouthfeel, rather thin, but substantial, a little more nuanced and grassy with a touch of some herbal hops there. An earthy vibe for sure, featuring a sturdiness to the brew which lack a little flexibility to compliment the other flavors. Solid for the style.

I’m not really a fan of pilsners, but this one is pretty good. The aroma is semi sweet with subtle hints of hops. It’s pretty smooth and goes down really well.

Can. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a large, foamy, white head that slowly fades. Taste is floral, of wheat, hops and malt. Same aftertaste that is slightly bitter. Similar aroma. Reminds me of a wheat beer. Slightly oily body. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable. Worth picking up again, especially during the summer.

aroma - all yeast and crystal malts, no hops present. it smells crisp, like lemon juice with subtle grapefruit and undertones of banana peel. appearance? light golden straw crossed with dehydrated urine, hehehe. Taste - mellow, crisp, juicy citrus, faint tropical fruit, minimal salty finish. great with sushi and sashimi. lighter fare paired on purpose. tasty from the can. slight spice from carbonation, not from flavor. Yella Pils needs food.

The Dan Journal #301. Tasted 9/14/09. 12oz Can. Filtered with a brigth honey golden hue. White ring of head. Trace nose. Light to medium bodied with a big tingling effervescence. Bright flavors. Cereal grains in the malt bill and a decent hop punch. Hits the tart and the bitter.

Can from Cracked Kettle. Nice yellow body with top head. Nice hoppy nose. Lots of hops and citrus in the flavour. Nice pine finish. Another excellent canned product by the Oskar Blues guys. Very good.

Can, bought @ Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam.
Hazy golden with a big, frothy, white head. Fair duration, though it fizzes a bit. Nice grassy Saaz hop aroma. Slightly spicy with some fine sweet maltiness. A touch of pepper. Low carbonation, lovely dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and some chewy malts. There is really a fine, spicy and grassy hoppiness. Long lingering bitterness with a slight sugary edge. Nice.

Can at Mellow Mushroom - Brandon. Poured clear amber color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hopand yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
