| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 30, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Hazy deep copper coloured beer, low head. Diacetyl and some vinegar in both aroma and flavour. I did not like it at all. Should never have been for sale - if the brewers want to destroy their own good reputation, this is the way to do it. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Draught@the brewpub. Hazy, dark copper with a ruddy tinge. Thin creamy head. A faint toffe aroma up front, then a whiff of some light sourish fruits. Taste is weak sourish-dry malts. Some fruitiness in there, also a quite unpleasant soapy flavor. Low on the hops. Feels thin in the mouth. Short dryish ending. Does not stand out in any way. Smaskifa (56), Oslo, Norway
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 24, 2008 At the pub. Reddish brown colour, very small lid, disappears fast. The same distinct fruity smell which distinguishes most of this brewery’s beer - I guess it’s the hops. Some hints of coffee actually, and the fresh fruits of the aroma, a bit hoppy finish. Ok, beer, but not the best they have. thebeertourist (2799), Oslo, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours the usual hazy copper as far as I could see in the dark brewpub. Medium head. Toffee and fruit nose. Good fruity toffee flavours. Slightly watery? Highly drinkable, but oh so similar to the other brews from this brewpub. KnutAlbert (3151), Oslo, Norway
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Murky brown beer with a reddish tone.
Sour and yeasty aroma.
A bit thin and watery, does not feel like 6%. A hint of smoke, a little bitterness. some lingering hops in the finish. Not very balanced.
I’m all for more experimental brews from this brewpub, but this is not the way to do it.
