Medium lasting beige head. Deep dark red body with light carbonation. Syrupy fruity wild berry aroma with malty notes. Dry-sweet roasty fruity taste with sharpish dusty edge to it. Fullish body. Quite sweet, loses some freshness and drinkability that way. Dryish chalky resiny wild berry aftertaste. Quite nice. (0.3l draft at the brewpub.)

Coca cola color, thin head. Malty aroma. Grain, malt, some bitterness, fine balance.Rich, malty beer, but there is a hint of sourness there that is not too pleasant. I think they still have some micro organisms that they need to keep under control.

On tap at the brewpub, half pint. It pours a clear, reddish dark brown body with a nice off-white to beige head leaving lacings. Roasted nose with fruityness and the house signature. Fruity flavor with roasted malts. Some citrus, but quite weak. Low on bitterness. Full-bodied and smooth. Long, medium sweet finish with fruityness. Really pleasant and easy to drink. Moderately hopped, but it’s appropriated. Style? Hard to determine, I guess Mild is as good as anything. (090313)

Draught, half pint served chilled at the brewpub. Deep mahogany red-tinged body with great lucidity. Fragile laceworks. Weak aroma of noble malts with underlying sweetness. Flavoured with slightly roasted dark, caramel malts added by a tiny touch of sweet, fruit-like candy. Bittersweet ending. Foamy in the mouth. A clean tasting red ale with fine drinkability (Oslo,15.03.2009).

On tap@the brewpub. Translucent dark brown with a shade of ruby. Stable offwhite cream head. Prominent caramellish malt aroma. Berry notes. A gentle, light sweet malt flavor paired with some mild, barely noticeable bittering hops. Mouthfeel is soft and silky. Lasting malty finish. Nice indeed.

1 pint draught at the brewpub. Black with a ruby red hue. Crystal clear. Medium-sized light beige fine-laced head. Delicate raspberry maltiness in the aroma. Slightly roasted flavours, but those are balanced by berry-like malt flavours. Nicely balanced with a smooth texture. Slightly fruity, but clean. This is an excellent beer with a wonderful balance and delicate flavours.
