Nov 23, 2009 Sampled at The Big Pour beerfest in Scottsdale AZ, after we snuck into the VIP area! estery aromas of bananas, sweet spices, and citrus oil. Nice flavours of sweet straw-like malts, good yeasty fruit and spice character, and a hoppy dry finish. A very nice trippel.

Jun 30, 2009 Courtesy of rustychiles. Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of dry malt, perfume, grass, some residual sugar, boozy. Tastes sweet and tarte with some dryness on the finish. Enjoyable.

Jun 20, 2009 Bottle sample at the Draft Magazine PBS Beer Festival. Pours clear gold with an average white head. The nose is spice, caramel and booze. The taste is clove, spicy yeast and brown sugar. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Too sweet and hot.

Apr 25, 2009 This pours a crystal clear old gold, with some creamy bone-white head. The nose is a little fruity with strong notes of caramel. The taste is initially slightly sweet but fades to a strong peppery spice flavor that quickly disappears. A bit of peppery sweetness lingers. Light, but a bit cloying.

Mar 27, 2009 Sampled at the 2009 AZ Strong Beer Fest on February 28th. Nice deep gold pour with a good foamy head. Aroma and flavor of yeast, ripe fruit, spice and alcohol. A bit too sweet, but not bad.

Mar 20, 2009 Growler courtesy of Hellybilly (Thanks!) Vibrant orange pour, little carbonation and very good malty aroma. Flavor was initially noticable alcohol flavor and heat, peppery spice and a finishes a little funky. A decent beer, would like to try it on tap if I ever get the chance.

Mar 15, 2009 Tap at Pap. Not in love with this. Nose is highly alcoholic and flavor is the same. Color is brilliant as is the appearance, but I detect no subtleties in the flavor. Just heat and plant.
