Black color. Strong coconut aroma, covering the roasted malt, it reminds me the Batida liquor. Dry mouthfeel, roasted malt flavor, strong, with some coconut and chocolate. I find that adding coconut to the beer is a weird idea, but the result is drinkable.

Black color / tan head. Nice shredded coconut meat, semi sweet chocolate, roasty malt aromas. Light to medium body. Flavor is a liquid coconut chocolate chip dream bar; sweet pungent coconut , semi sweet chocolate, sweet doughy pie crust, with a mild burnt malt bitterness. A bit thin in the finish. Tasty session brew.

Tap at Papago. Dark brown pour. Creamy tan head. Aroma us loaded with toasted coconut and some chocolate. Flavor is sweet with lots of coconut. Some chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Damn good.

On tap @ PP Carlsbad. Clear deep ruby with a one finger tan head, creamy with good retention. Smells of sweetened store-bought shredded coconut, dirt (not earth, which is good, at least for me), and some roasted malts. Flavor is the same--over the top coconut everywhere. Dirty finish with bitterness @ a 2. Light body with low carbonation. Not good, very artificial.

On tap @ 1702 - Pours a dark brown color with a thin light tan head. No lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coconut, light coffee, and chocolate. Flavor is much of the same. Finish is dry and roasty. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. Medium body. A good tasting sweet stout.

On tap @ Papago. Really enjoyed this one. Dark Hershey syrup pour produced a 2 finger caramel colored head that left a bi of lacing. Aroma is coconut milk, cocoa, roasted malt, and coffee bean. Flavor also exhibits chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and roasted malt sweetness. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

Tap at Stone 13th Anniversary Celebration. Pours a nice brown black with a small off white head. Nose is full of coconut flavored coffee. Flavors follow, Dunkin Donuts coconut coffee. Nice roasted malts. Great beer!
