Dec 21, 2009 Dark brownish amber color. Aroma is of malts, caramel, a little brown sugar, and a slight bit of citrus. Flavor is of sweeter malts, caramel, and some spices. Has a sweeter malt finish.

Dec 2, 2009 12 oz. bottle. pours a thin short lived head, with minimal lacing, over a clear dark amber (SRM 10) body......nose is light toffee, cereal.....taste is heavy malts, with cereal, toffee, light hop finish with pleasant spice....mouth feel is light, carbonation somewhat high. This is a light Brown Ale, with fairly low complexity.

Nov 6, 2009 Bottle. 12 oz. Pours a clear, pretty amber with a nice, chalky white head. Aroma of barley, oats, raisins, and slight hint of scotch Medium bodied. Smooth, crisp moutfeel with a nice, easy finish. Decent brown ale.

Nov 1, 2009 12 oz bottle pours an amber brown with an aroma of malt, caramel, dark fruit and faint nuttiness. Taste is sweet, malty and fruity. Decent beer but not at the top of my favorite brown ales.

Oct 18, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark, reddish brown with a minimal, off-white head. Tastes halfway between a red ale and a brown ale, however, there is an apparent corn taste that really keeps this from being a good beer. I knew I should have gone with Troeg’s.

Sep 20, 2009 copper color, not much head, just off white bubbles, no lace. mostly air in the nose with some sweet malt tagging along. mild malt flavor but pretty watery overall and no trace of hops. medium bodied, clean finish. nothing to see here folks. move along. disappointing in its meekness. single bottle from binny’s orland park.
