A nice reddish brown ale with a thick off white head. A wonderful aroma of sweet flowers, treacle, and floral C-hops. In mouth, a caramelly IPA with good roasted notes, and a good hopping. Bottle from Capflu. Shared Aug. 2008, with Capflu, GRM, et al., Brasseurs du temps gathering.

Bottle from TheCheeseman at Solan’s Mom Throwdown. Pours a dark ruby. Nose has some definite wood and smoke with a bit of caramel and some citrus. Quite hoppy. Citrusy but not soapy and a long lingering caramel finish. Rather one dimensional but quite good at what it was trying to do.

Pleasant aroma of fruity caramel and hops. Clear reddish brown pour with ruby highlights. Good flavor of hops, caramel, toasted malt, some fruityness. The body is medium and the carbonation is moderate. Interesting.

Dark reddish-brown and hazy. Woody nose with caramel, brown sugar and deep fruitiness. Rich, thick head. Quite fruity, with vibrant hop, brown sugar, caramelized apple. Finishes sweet, sugary, fairly earthy.

Bottle, thanks to Microoakes. Garnet-colored with slightly hazed body and beige, light foamy head and lacing. Aroma of fresh bread crust with strawberry jam. Soft, nice mouthfeel is velvety. Excellent, jammy body with crisp autumnal aftertaste and correspondingly brisk hops. Fruity, slightly burnt. Quite lovely and impressive beer from a brewery that really knows how to respect hops.
