riversideAK (1951), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 18, 2008 Aroma of fresh raspberries and a hint of wheat perhaps. Pours a reddish orange color. Nice fresh tart raspberry flavors combine with a very light wheat malt. Tart quenching finish. Super fresh. Ron makes great fruit beer. anders37 (2992), Malmö, Sweden Dec 5, 2008 Draft at Raccoon Lodge. Pours a a hazy pale reddish color with a small white head. Has a sweet fruity raspberry aroma. Sweetish slighlty tart raspberry flavor. Has a sweetish and a little tart raspberry finish. after4ever (2006), Brier, Washington, USA Nov 18, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Cloudy light golden amber with a modest tan head. Nice floral raspberry notes, very fruity and natural smelling--no juice concentrate notes or any of that business you sometimes fear with session fruit beers. Creamy medium body with assertive, pleasant carb and a bit of pleasing grain on the tongue. Definite wheat, grain, and raspberry notes on the mid-palate. Refreshing, drinkable, clean, and straightforward. You can drink this one as fast as you want, or as long as you want, but probably not both. Nice stuff. WeeHeavySD (2188), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Nov 17, 2008 Tap @ the brewery. A very popular beer for the brewery. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet razz. Taste is razzy tasty and slightly tart. kmweaver (2274), Nicaragua Oct 31, 2008 Draft @ Raccoon Lodge. Pours a slightlyl hazy, honey-orange color; creamy white head with great retention and fine-bubbled lacing; great pour. Lightest fruit tartness in the aroma; red berries, light wheat huskiness; crisp overall. Medium mouthfeel: a bit syrupy and sweet, and not quite following through with the authentic fruit character in the nose; still, raspberry syrup, light wheat, creamy in the mouth; drinkable, if a touch syrupy. Better than most fruit wheats. Medium finish: red fruits and light wheatiness; balanced ending.
