| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Spicy, funky Belgian aroma. Hint of spicy ginger too. NIce, grassy hop. Really excellent.
Beautiful cloudy peach color. Head goes bye-bye quickly. Rose-colored in a different light. Gorgeous.
The flavor is heavy ginger, which fits perfectly with the Belgian spice. Grassy; hints of bubblegum. Some earthy cloves come in. White wine and a touch of peach. Lemon-grass hops and green apple.
The palate is chewy and fizzy. Thick, bites the back of the tongue. It’s a delicious spicy beer. Fizzy like a farmhouse, then hoppy like a pilsner. I like! Yves (1009), Beerse, Belgium
