Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

Pours a light orange with bright white fluffy head. Huge aroma of mustiness and bitter orange. Flavor brings some of the wet horseblanket and a bit of bitterness. Lingering finish. Really classic.

33cl bottle from beermerchants.com. Pours a light golden colour with a good long lasting head. Aromas of citrus, barley, caramel, summer fruits. Flavours of wheat, barley, citrus, lots of fruit, light herbs. Finishes drier than the Sahara but still extremely refreshing. Good stuff.

Very floral hop nose, chewy mouthfeel with a well-rounded bready, yeasty taste. Alcohol has a nice bite to it but is not intrusive in any way. Balances out the rest very nicely.

Very pale orange with a thick rocky head. Aroma is a bit funky, but has a nice underlying fruitiness and sourness that I like. Kind of lemony with a dash of ginger. Flavor is very mellow and well balanced, sweet and sour, and bitter in the finish. Very refreshing, lightly astringent. This beer won’t astound you with it’s complexity, it seems very refined, and just good all around.

Bottle, 375 mL. Hazy yellow pour with tons of floaters. Very carbonated and bubbly with a big white head. Smells like the Belgian farmhouse ale I was promised. Pepper, earth tones, grass, lemon. Taste is a nice bit of grape. Not as much bite in the flavor as I was expecting, but very easy to drink. Lemon/citrus in the taste as well. Very good.

375ml. Cloudy light orange with medium frothy head. Aroma of hay, ginger, yeast, light citrus fruit and some muskiness. Taste is lightly sweet throughout but ends with a nice bitterness, notes of green apple and musk. Palate is dry and has medium carbonation

bottle. hazy yellow gold pour with a big pillowy white head and tons frothy stick. nice aroma of lemon, banana, yeast and light spices (cloves I think). taste is orange, tart apple, spices and bread. tight dry bitter finish. soft round palate with a faint touch of carbonation. seems to be complex and accessible all at once.

Pours straw yellow with a nice foamy head. Very dry with some sweetness and a bitter ending. Not my favorite style but pretty good.
