Oct 30, 2009 On tap at Barley’s Smokehouse. Pours clear copper with a medium beige head. Citrus and piney hop nose with some malt. Crisp and piney hop flavor, then some malt, then the citrus kicks in. Lasting bitter finish. Good stuff. Would like to try it side by side with Torpedo.

Sep 29, 2009 One of my into to craft beer beers. Wonderful balance. Not too hoppy and great for a beginner or a seasoned drinker. Nice clean crisp flavors and always refreshing and consistent.

Aug 22, 2009 Bottle from a 6-pack. Fairly underwhelming. Pours amber with thin head. Slight hop aroma, hop taste, overly bitter hop finish.

Aug 15, 2009 Bottle. Amber beer with a honeyed hop taste and a big bitter finish. The Civic or Corolla of mass produced beers because of its reliability. It’s found pretty much everywhere, it’s a guarantee that it will be satisfying and it always gets respect in a joint where everyone else is just chuggin bud lights. If an establishment’s beer list is sub par then this is my fall back beer and that goes a long way.

Aug 13, 2009 This beer was bitter but not in a good way. I like a good IPA from time to time and like to think that I have tried some very good ones but in this case something just seemed off. The finish was bitter and almost pungent. I’ve tried it a couple of times so I don’t know what the deal is. This was for sure a miss in my book.

Aug 1, 2009 Very nice IPA, doesn’t wallop you over the head with hops, but you definitely know they’re there. Good character, bitter finish.

Jul 13, 2009 Tap. Poured light golden with a nice white head. Very well balanced IPA, highly drinkable. Not too hoppy, very smooth, light bodied ipa. Good stuff.

Jun 28, 2009 Disappointing... I expected a west coast IPA with a big floral hop flavor. Not distinctive and simply not enough of a hop flavor. If you like balanced IPAs, maybe you’d like this more than I do.
