mabel (1710), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 11, 2008 [1671-20080906] Tap. Pine and evergreen sap aroma with some lemon orange-scented needles. Clear, amber brown body with quick white bubbles. Lemon pips and evergreen sapped needles flavour. Bitter medium body. Interesting, drinkable.
(@ brewpub; Anchorage, AK) jerc (3268), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 11, 2008 2008-09-06. Dark orange amber body with a small off-white head that struggles in a small glass. (3+) Big hops in the flavour, resiny vegetation floats over a bed of sweet orange and tangerine, light notes of citrus seeds. (7+) The hops have a similar roughness to them as in the pale ale, but are better rounded out here. Aroma of resiny orange citrus hops. (7+) Average palate is lightly carbonated. A dramatic improvement over most of their stuff sampled so far. On tap at the brewpub. hoppybeers4me (15), Ohio, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at the brewpub, poured by bartenders Evelyn and Jeannine. I fell in love with this IPA while sampling their beers on July 10. Actually had to go back to the bar on 2 separate occasions with my better half to drink more! Has a super fragrant floral hop bouquet. Nice color and head. Beautiful lace on the pint glass. Tastes very floral and citrus, with slight bitter on the back, and a spicy finish. Almost flavored like a DIPA. Makes the IPAs we drink in the lower 48 taste kinda thin. I LOVED IT! CaptBier (273), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jun 30, 2008 Draft. I believe this place may have a new brewer because this was very good. Nice floral aroma and medium amber brown color. Flavor was crisp and nice and very clean. I enjoyed it a lot. Different from southern 48 IPAs. Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jul 17, 2005 On draft at the brewpub 7/6/05: Bright orange with a monster head. Little aroma. The flaovr that the advertise as "wonderful crisp spicy finish" falls way short. Boringly flat.
