Jayb0 (695), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA Oct 31, 2008 Tap. I always look forward to another in the Sly Fox varietal IPA’s and this doesn’t disappoint. a bit fruity, slightly resiny, somewhat herbal aroma. balanced and drinkable as always. Nice. PilsnerPeter (1615), Flushing, New York, USA Oct 16, 2008 Tap at Barcade: Pours a deep copper with some clarity and a creamy off-white film of head. Great fruity hop aroma with berries, mango, syrupy orange zest, sweet resins and an underlying fresh malt balance. Has some creamy and dense carbonation. Generously hopped flavor, possessing both fruitiness and bitterness. Sweet underlying caramel and toasted pale malts hold up the extreme hop character of hemp, berryish fruits, orange, lychee, and a piny inky long bitter finish. Extremely long, bitter and dry, but it has dimension. Nice IPA. TomDecapolis (2544), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 17, 2008 On tap at the Royersford location. Pours a mostly translucent amber with lots of golden notes and a medium creamy off white head that left lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, orange slice, fresh hops, light pine and toasted malt. Flavor of toasted malt, caramel, pine, considerable hop bitterness and grapefruit. Ty5592 (1009), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 19, 2007 Clear orange color with great lacing and minimal carbonation. Lite fruity aroma and flavor. light roasted and toasy notes. Bitter finish. Eyedrinkale (3115), Beer Town, New York, USA Aug 1, 2007 Draft @ HDG. Nothing wrong with this stuff. Looks great in the glass, has a nice grassy aroma and a nice dryness in the finish. Balances almost perfectly, showcasing the hop very well.
