Bottled (thanks TM!). Without yeast deep amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is old coffee that goes sour with some wooden and sour fruity notes. Flavour is sour fruits, wood, caramel and mild spices. 4 3 4 2 8
With the yeast poured in it: Hazy deep amber/nutbrown colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, spices, herbs and some mild notes of chocolate and alcohol. Flavour is dry wood, some sour wood as well as mild earthy and grassy notes. Quite pleasant with the yeast in it. 6 4 6 3 12.

Bottle conditioned. Thanks Sigmund. Mahogany colour with huge creamy head. Sourness hits me at first. Unripe red berries comes to mind. Oh, are there any residual sugars left here? Let’s see. No, not really. Heavy milky acidic in flavour and really dry. Traces of old chocolate is sensed. A clear infection of lacto-acids. Maltiness is gone. Hops are gone. Body is gone. But hey, this might become the new fashion! Difficult to rate this one. Sour ain’t that all bad always.

(Bottle bought from Vinmonopolet, BBE 05/09, drank 08/09) Reddish brown and hazy. Tan coloured and medium sized head. Berries, malts and manure in aroma. Medium bodied and dryish palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Sourness, berries, malts and bitterness in taste. Sourness in aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Pours muddy brown beer with fastly disappearing soapy head. Some bigger lumps of yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is practicly identical to some basic "sweet and sour chili sauce". Taste is sweetish with some caramel and fruits, medium carbonation, alcohol comes up in the finish.

Had a bottle of this esb ((?) what it’s labeled, but otherwise no apparent connection) at Henrik’s bar in Bergen, Norway. Poured with almost no head. No lace. Cloudy brown color. Aroma of dark, ripe fruit. Flavor was the same with a little hop. Shallow. Almost no carbonation. A bit tart. BBE date of 01.10, handwritten. Bit thin. Not so good; couldn’t finish it. Amateurish.
