Nov 30, 2008 12 ounce bottle from Downtown Wine & Gourmet in Harrisonburg, VA, which had this bottled outdated by 15 months on the shelf. For shame! However, for a lager, this ages well. Pours a golden amber color with a thin, long lasting head. Grainy aroma with some fruity notes. Grain, caramel and bitter hop notes in the taste. Medium bodied.

Nov 28, 2008 (10/17/08) Bottle at friends’ house in Philadelphia (thanks David T). Clear golden with quite a bit of carbonation and a small white head. Aroma has nice hoppiness with grassy notes, some malty bready hints and a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor with some malt, light breadiness, light buttery hints and a nice bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. A nice Lager.

Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Malty sweet aroma with light hops. The flavor has caramel malt with just a touch of hops. Not bad.

Sep 29, 2008 Draught sample at the Portsmouth restaurant. This was a great lager, definitely near the top of my nice. Very lively and spicey in the aroma and flavour. Very easy drinking.
