Mar 29, 2009 Tap @ Brewpub: Dark brown with a thin tan head. Rich aroma of roast, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor drops in intensity and retains a milder roast and coffee feel. Very light chocolate notes. I concure with the comments of a thin feeling. Enjoyable, but not remarkable.

Mar 25, 2009 On tap at Sockeye Brewing. pours out a black topped with a cream tan head. Aroma was nice sweet choclate and dark roast. Tast was more of the same a nice roast and some sweetness. A nice cream but a little thinner than I was thinking. Still not bad.

Very dark with excellent dense creamy head and fine sheets of lacing due to the nitro. Quite faint raosty aromas and not particularly dark malt flavors. Fairly thin watery feel.

Dec 22, 2003 Pitch black with a tan nitro head. Creamy and milky aroma. Overall just thin and light, weak but a
still drinkable. Java aroma, strong coffee flavor.

Dec 21, 2003 Dark brown with mahogany edges, creamy and and big lacae. Chocolate malt filled aromas with small hops in the background. Roast and chocolate malts come out big in the flavor. Very creamy palate. Nice stout.

Dec 16, 2003 Updated: Oct 20, 2005Aroma is very subdued from the nitro, this has tons of nitro, took forever for it to clear (<- appearance) but eventually did. Creamy smooth finish and mouthfeel. The real treat comes through in the flavor and tail finish of this lovely creature. Extremely smooth roasted coffee flavors followed by a semi-sweet chocolate that is exquisite. The light hop bitterness is almost overdone on purpose to balance the sweet in a nitro environment. Well planned out Josh!
