| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Growler from Brewpub: Pours a hazy copper color with a nice sticky head. The nose is piney with a more pronounced earthy citrus character than the Tail Dragger. Can’t really pin point the hops though. Ample backup malts so the pale malts aren’t so lonely. Nice continued hop bitterness and flavor that continues on to the bitter end (rimshot!). Nice IPA, not as hopcentric or balanced as the Tail Dragger but very nice nonetheless in this hop climate.
