OleR (1373), Oslo, Norway Oct 27, 2008 Bottled@EBF 2008. Hazy yellow colored, thin shortlived white head. Discreet aroma of dried apricot. Apricot goes for the taste as well, along with some powdery, chalky bittering hops. Low malt level. Sourish mouthfeel. Skinny body. Fruity, slight bitter ending. Skinnyviking (2965), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 25, 2008 Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing white had. Hazy thick looking orange body with a good deal of yeast sediments. Oranges abricot alcohol, yes I know it is strange, aroma with the addition of something spicy which I suspect is the Quinua. Flavor mild, and a bit flat, dusty abricot, sweet and without hops bitterness. Low carbonation, short sweet aftertaste. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 12, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy, pale golden with a small, rough white head. Discreetly fruity aroma. Light and a little thin with distinct fruity notes and a very untraditional spicing. No bitterness. Odd but not terrible. 310808 HenrikSoegaard (3286), Randers, Denmark Oct 3, 2008 Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow ugly colour. Light malty very cheasy aroma and flavor. Light sweet grainy flavor. Loght bitter short finish. Watery palate. Not very pleasent. Red Quinua much better experiment! saxo (2431), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Sep 22, 2008 Sample at EBF Copenhagen. Medium head with medium duration. Color is hazy yellow. Aroma and taste are malt, fruit and yeast. Watery.
