Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Smells malty and a small hint of hops. Tastes like corn malts, some grains, but a little hoppy. Pretty good. daknole (1117), Plantation, Florida, USA Nov 21, 2008 golden pour. white head. malty and grainy aroma. Flavor is malty and a bit sweet, but nothing at all to write home about. zach8270 (1470), Henrietta, New York, USA Nov 19, 2008 (bottle - 500 ml) Clear yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is light and hoppy with a little bit of sweetness in it as well. Some light citrus hiding at the back. Flavor is very light and crisp at the start with a light touch of hops mixed with some spice and a little bit of yeast. The middle is crisp and sweet with hints of apple peels and then moves to a very dry and slightly bitter finish. Very nice. Glouglouburp (2113), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Sep 30, 2008 In short: A macro-ish pseudo-pilsner lager.
How: Bottle, drank fresh the day of purchase
The look: Clear yellow-blonde body topped by a short-lived small white head
In long: Oily sugary cereals. Some honey. Taste of Corn Flakes™. Shy hops. Total lack of character. Macro sensation. Insultingly bland. Some rotten fruits as the beer warmed-up. I was in a road trip in the USA and after too many imperial-something I felt like a refreshing European lager. I picked one I didn’t know. That’s what I got. I would be in a trip over-sea and missing north-american food I would randomly chose something I never had and I’d pick a McFish sandwich. That’s the type of looser I am.
