Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, grain), average hops (flowers, pine, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple and pear. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Aromas were iced tea and almonds. After those, you get light grapefruit. The taste was bitter grapefruit with some bread crust. Aroma of pine, woodsy hops, mild sweet malts. Taste is of earthy hops, pine and citrus with a medium bitter-sweet finish. Nicely balanced, solid IPA.
