Tasted 9/9/08. KDHX Taste for Tunes @ the brewpub. Apparently they just "switched the keg"! Mildly hazy with an amber hue. LClinging white head. Cereal aromas with sweet notes of caramel and toast. Super subtle estery note. Light to medium bodied and super fresh. Rolling palate with low acidity. Great creamy mouthfeel. Slightly chalky in the finish. Estery undertone appears in the palate as well. Caramel wheaty bready malts. Trace bubblegum. Slight touch of orange fruit. Mild bitter burnt flavor in the middle to finish. Totally solid! Fresh and tasty drinking!

Draft... Aroma is slight, malty, slightly butter and sweet. Okay, so I was not the only one to get diacetyl out of this beer. Taste is somewhat grassy, sweet and yet dry. Mouthfeel is slick and full. Very true to style except for the slight butter elements.

Draught at Square One. Pours clear dark yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw, cereal, meal), light hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of butter and dust. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
