Tap at Memphis Taproom for a dolla! Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet sour and funky notes, tart cherry and some light barnyard. Flavor of tart funkiness, cherries and light sweetness. Well done. Aroma coming across a bit sweet.

37.5 cl bottle, Fargo, ND. USA via Chicago. Hazy deep golden colour, frothy soap like head that quickly vanishes. Aroma of apple, coriander and yeast. Tastes like a weak cider without too much overt sweetness. Mellow and slightly earthy on the finish.

Draft @ Capones: Poured a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. The aroma was apples, bread, yeast and tart. The flavor was mostly sour apple and wheat. Overall, very average

On tap @ La Trappe. Pours a slightly cloudy golden hue with a nice white head. Mellow apple aroma with a hint of hay. Sweetness is quickly subdued by a sour finish. Average for the style... Not recommended if you’re looking for a nice Geuze.

On tap at Track 84 - Warwick, RI. Aroma throws a light cheese rind, musty cellar floor, and a bit of horsiness. Pours a coppery-brown-tinted golden, with minimal head. Flavor is immediately curt, thinning fast, and the slides towards light lemon juice acidity. Lacking full acid body, this beer plays thin. The characters are solid, but they feel washed out. Nice funkiness in the wild basement, orchards, and animal sense perseveres into the finish.

I’m not too familiar with sour beers, this is my second. Soft aromas of apples, cherries, raspberries and bready yeasts. Taste is sour cherries but a bit of malt too. Not very sour at all just a well felt acidity all along a bit like an oak aged beer. I enjoyed it.

The aroma is a very mild sour apple scent. The appearance is a very clean golden color, with a thin white collar. The flavor is a nice tart sour flavor, similar to a farmhouse style cider. The flavors are of super tart apple. The feel is a nice initial champagne like bubbly effervescence that transforms into a dry feel, with an interestingly nutty late ending.
