Immy (1610), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Nov 27, 2008 12.7 oz bottle, dated 04/2008. Clear reddish amber pour with a small pinkish head. Massive sweet raspberry nose, somewhat tart and dusty smelling. Big, sweet raspberry flavor, bouncy on the tongue. This beer seems to get a bad rap - I think it’s refreshing, sweet and delish! daknole (1117), Plantation, Florida, USA Nov 27, 2008 Tasting at Brewtopia. Man this is pretty good and WTF is with the terrible rating here? The last entry is exactly right, it does compare to a NG Rasp Tart. Raspberries on the nose and tongue. Sweet wtiha great balance of tartness. But not sour at all. Some people rate these sweeter lambics too low. Its a shame. YUMMMMMM! CaryTheDude (487), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Nov 19, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Blown away both by the brew and the low rating. Yum. Comparable to New Glarus Raspberry Tart. Just awesomely delicious. Raspberries rarely taste this awesome. darkguardian (206), Florida, USA Oct 29, 2008 16 oz bottle. Pours a rustic red color with tons of floating yeast. Small pink head. BIg huge nose of raspberry and some brettiness in the nose. Sudbued wildness. Very fruity. Flavor is a good balance of sweet and a tad bit of sour. No vinegar but a nice tartness lingers on the tongue. No oakiness like in some of the better framboise lambics. Still a very solid lambic thats good for lambic newbies. tomer (197), Israel Oct 6, 2008 0.25L bottle, pinkish, thin but staying head, clear ruby red colour, strong aroma of raspberries that seems a little artificial at first but later grows richer. the flavour feels like biting into raspberries, nice balance between sweet and sour. aftertaste is dumb and short. light and quite simple but still very enjoyable.
