Oct 28, 2009 pours blood red with no real head. aroma is bursting with juicy raspberries and sugary sweetness. taste is the same with very sugary sweet raspberries throughout. almost to sweet for me to really enjoy.

Oct 2, 2009 Draft at redlight redlight. What can I say? This is a beer that I almost never want to drink, but when I do I can’t help but admit that it is delicious. The nose is a rich raspberry sorbet, and the flavor is right there with it. Overly sweet, certainly. Do I want to drink more than a few sips? Hell, no, I don’t. But a cool glass of this stuff at a bbq hits the spot.

Sep 26, 2009 Deep red pour with champagne like carbonation. Smells like Raspberry candy and sugar. Crisp carbonation, very light consistency and almost too sweet. Taste is sour candy, sugar, raspberries, and more sugar. The after-taste is that of a diet soda...gross. Would be better if it wasn’t so sweet...this is disappointing.

Sep 14, 2009 375ml Bottle: Aroma of raspberry. Poured magenta/ruby in color with a tiny, magenta/white head that lasted around the edges. Clear. Slightly sparkling. A few small particles throughout. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of raspberries, and a hint of wood. Medium body. Tingly texture. Average to lively carbonation. Raspberry finish with a hint of funk.

Jul 28, 2009 Huge rapberry aroma with a deep garnet almost maroon color and pinkish head. Bit too syrup like and a slight tart raspberry finish. Nothing special about this framboise.

Jul 7, 2009 A Mes rate: draught at The Rake.
Very artificial looking but it’s such an awesome blood red colour I can’t help but like it. The chunky pink head retreats rapidly to a pink collar. Tom has just dropped a whole raspberry in it. Now it looks really girly. Smells horrendously artificial and full of sacharine. Tastes just the same. Sooooo sweet. Bloody awful but strangely drinkable. Wait no, I had a sixth, I’m done already. Lambic? Seriously???
