Cask; Regular. Also available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles.
Soil Association accredited, organically grown Chariot malted barley is used to make the mash for this excellent beer. To provide the distinctive fully hopped character we add organically grown Goldings hops. The result is a unique, full-bodied organic best bitter with a refreshing after-taste, highly commended by the Soil Association. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. ABV is 4.1%. Brewed with organically grown Optic malts and First Gold hops. Deep golden to amber colour, creamy off-white head. Moderate aroma of grass and vegetables. The flavour has distinct hops throughout, "dry" mouthfeel, the finish is very bitter.

500 ml bottle. Huge fluffy mostely lasting lightly tanned head. Amber to pale copper colored body with a slight haze. A delicious scent of ripe clementine up front, supported by toasted, light buttery malts. Taste is medium sweet, light caramellish with a acidulous fruity undertone. Grassy bitterness. Healthy body. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Organic!

On cask at The Jerusalem Tavern. Man, many of the St Peters beers are a lot better on cask. This one poured a clear amber with an average lasting beige doughy-looking head - it actually left decent lacing behind. The aroma was dry and wheaty, with appreciable leafy/resiny bitterness, and well balanced by dry lightly oily grain. The taste was quite grain-forward, but oh my it was surprisingly bitter (why the hell are "bitters" rarely BITTER?!!), the dry resin taste lingered quite a long time after the malt faded - in fact it was ultimately a bit unbalanced - to bitterness, which is amazing. Above average bodied, the astringency carried through to a very, very long dry bitter finish - I had to order another beer immediately as I was left thirsty by this one. Best "organic" beer I’ve ever had.
