| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2009 With thanks to HogTownHarry for gifting this to me. Appearance: Cloudy yellow/orange with a small white head. Aroma: spicy pepper - lots of yeast, banana & herbs, mild cloves too. Flavour: caramel & malt initially, turning mildly spicy, lemons and salt. Long malty finish. Not too bad. Nothing special, nothing grand. HogTownHarry (4020), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottle ( 12oz ). Mostly clear light gold with an average fizzy white head. Floral sweet aroma, mildly yeasty, mostly pear and banana. The taste follows - biscuit, banana, pear, mild coriander and not much alcohol - fairly sweet; light, slick, fairly still mouthfeel, finishes fast and anonymous. Okay, sort of boring, could use more malt body and spice, a little less sweetness. blankboy (3227), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottle [12oz]. Pours a slightly hazy gold with an average size quickly diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of banana, quite sweet, also with wheat and citrus fruit. Slightly watery flavour of wheat, banana, bubblegum and spices. Average bodied. Meh, it’s alright I guess, it’s just not for me, too boring. glennmastrange (860), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Bottle. Moderate cereal note for the malt, light lemon and dough for the hops and yeast, with hints of ripe banana and tea. Head is small, fizzy, white with virtually no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear yellow. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a fizzy carbonation and a lightly dry finish. Not much here to talk about, but it is an easy drinking German Hefeweizen. nearbeer (1858), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 19, 2009 12 oz. Body is a nearly opaque (after swirling the sediment into the brew), orange-pear color with a quickly disappearing head. Nice spicy-banana nose, with an undercurrent of crackers and a hint of orange-lemon. Front taste is banana, clove, pear, and zesty orange. Finish is citrus bubblegum, dry wheat and a hint of resin. Light body is acidic-tingly and refreshing. Nice little heifer with what tastes like an authentic Bavarian yeast strain. thornecb (1801), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Pours bright gold into a Sam glass. Bright white cola head crackles and recedes to hug rim. Clove and banana aromas. Crisp with wheat, cloves, banana and slight bubblegum. Dry finish. Not a hefe - no sediment and a crackly little head; but still a good flavored wheat. pumpmaster (480), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

Appearance: wild haze inside, some bigger floaties on this amber gold brew. Mid top with shorter lifespan. Nose: proper weizen feel , citric tartness of wheat grain , some sweets around, hint of clove. Flavor/Palate : mid light bodied. Organic feel with noticeable sediment on palate, soft with citric character. Mild wheat with emptier finish. Proper but uninspired without finishing touches.
