Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 750 ml caged cork bottle. Medium copper pour, tight white head - leaves a nice thin coat of lacing. Light, but fresh fragrant aroma, some floral hints, some fresh fruit - cantaloupe comes to mind. Pleasant smooth flavor - nothing jumps out initially. Some light dates, hints of chocolate, bits of honey - just all around smooth and easy drinking. Good level of spritziness. Very decent - pleasant surprise.

A decent ale. Pours golden with a tall lasting head. Smells like aged beechwood and hair from a giraffes eyelid. Full nectar with good residual effers. This brew is moderately sweet tasting like white grapes, peaches, banana, and other tropicals. The finish lingers with sweetness. This brew is round and luscious with decent attributes.

Bottle from Ohtsuki. Light amber color with a thick, fine, tall head and lots and lots of bubbles rising. Very fruity aroma with lots of green apples and a touch of honey. Flavor is strong and hoppy, rather sour, with more green apples and some citrus and sweet honey and spices as well. Quite hoppy for a tripel, from start to finish, with a strong metallic taste as well. Interesting and original, though maybe not very well balanced. Rather boozy as well. Body is rather thin and very fizzy. Ok, but not one of the better triples I’ve had.

Bottle pours golden-orange with a white head. Aroma smells of banana, white pepper, yeast, and slightly metallic. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of grass, caramel, orange peel, and a touch of alc. Nothing wrong with this one, I just don’t think that I was in the mood. I’ll have to rerate it at another time.

Orange coloured and unclear. Has a white head, medium lasting. Hoppy aroma, metallic notes. Flavor starts heavy bitter, with a iron-note. Light sweetness. Real nice. Dry texture.

Bottle given to me by Ian at Toronado. Pours a hazy golden amber with white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, dusty malts, and some spice. Flavor is grainy maltiness, artificial banana flavored candy, tangy citrus, and spice. A rather "sharp" flavor for a tripel. Finish is dry with some hop presence. Pretty good, especially since it was free.

Pours golden with a small white head. Aromas of belgiun yeast and bananas. Spicy banana flavor. A little light on the palate. Pretty decent overall.
