Commercial Description:
The beer is just a hoppy red ale and somewhat of an experiment. The malt, is the same as the British Style Red Ale we had on tap a couple of months ago. Changing the yeast and dramatically increasing the hop rate produced a very different end result. Since both ales were very popular with our customers, I am planning to brew them again. Maybe twice a year. (So many beers, so little time!!)

On tap at The Den. Pours a dark shade of amber with a trim off-white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. Smells predominantly of grapefruity hops. Tastes of dry hops, caramel, mild citrus, and biscuity malt. Not bad.

On cask at Papago. Pours a clear reddish brown with a one finger creamy off-white head that leaves nice lacing. The nose is caramel, citrus and pine. The taste is grassy hops, light grain, caramel malt, light resin and some tart citrus in the finish. Medium creamy mouthfeel due to the cask. Really good Amber.

On cask and dry hopped @ Sun Up. Pours a nice copper with a bubbly white head. Aroma was fresh hops, caramel, grass, pine, malt. Flavor is fresh hops, caramel, malt. Light bodied but very flavorful. It’s not fair to even compare the dry hopped cask offering to the regular but this was very enjoyable.

On tap @ the brewery. Crimson colored brew with a 1/2 inch eggshell head that left a decent amount of lacing. Caramel malt, abundant hops, and a little nuttiness. Medium mouthfeel...highly drinkable with ample carbonation. Decent.

it pours a rich brown shade of copper with a frothy off white head which leaves rings and drips of lacing. it smells like toast, toasty grain, caramel, earthy spice and dirty hops (in a good way). it has the ’house flavor’ though it is not as pronounced... buttery caramely malt, toasty grain, grass, orange, a touch of pine and a dry bitter-ish finish. it is medium to medium/full bodied with a prickly touch... dry and easy to quaff. 7/4/7/4/15/3.7

Tap @ Brewhouse. Good fruity aroma. Red body with off white head. Sweet fruity malt flavor with some mild bitterness. Smooth on palate aslo left little dryness there also.
