| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Tasted on tap at the brewpub 10/25/2008. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruit and floral. Kind of mild bitterness for a “PNW” style IPA, a touch too sweet with not enough hops to balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is very slightly bitter, most of that at the very end.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Sep 11, 2008 The name lied to me. Sure it is a hoppier IPA than most, but nothing comparatively. Reminds me of a more full bodied TG. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2008 This is outstanding for someone that is looking for an agressive over the top hoppy beer. I prefer a little more balance, but it is interesting to see a NW brewer do a true west-coast style IPA. The hops are obviously apparent in the nose and on the palate, with a sweet caramel malt background that does its best to keep up but just cannot stand the onslaught. This is the kind of beer that is so dry that your palate is kind of ruined for anything else afterwards. Pucker power. Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 27, 2008 3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is highly floral with citrus characteristics dominatingm followed by a light grassy note. Malt is almost nonexistant. Appearance is hazy gold with a moderate maintained off white head. Flavor is a combination of earthy and citrus hop characteristics forward, followed by a sweet malt note to nicely balance out. Mouthfeel is dry and well attenuated with a low carb feel and lingering resiny finisy. Overall, this is a classic American IIPA with all the characteristics of hops popping up in this beer. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Draught sample at brewery. Big grapefruit and resin nose, grassy and fresh. Sweet malty character, though subdued. Dark amber body, hazy, with foamy lacing off-white head. Medium body with soft carbonation. Malty sweet start with candi sugar, apricots, and pears. Juicy, grassy. Mild bitter finish that grows in the aftertaste. Puckering. Nce IPA. BuckeyeBoy (1683), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Draft: Pours a nice murky orange amber with a large white head and good lacing. Hops are the dominate presence with floral and ctirus tones mostly. A little grassy as well. Nice balance and overall a well done IPA. ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 2, 2006 Quite a nice IPA, substantial, citrusy hopping over a nice, caramelly and doughy malt body; a local favorite I seem to have missed rating to this point.
