Tasted on tap at the brewpub 10/25/2008. This marzen pours a deep copper red color. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet. A medium bodied marzen. The malts are fruity and caramel. The hops are slightly spicy and floral. Good carbonation. Nice marzen, with a good balance between spicy hops and caramel sweetness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On tap at TableRock BrewPub pours out a clear amber topped wiht a small off white head. Light malt and a little hop. A little bitter and a little pumpkin spice. Not bad.

Filtered mahogany, light fizzy head, short lacing. Nose is hoppy, not very malty, light tangy yeast. Tastes medium bodied, light malt spices & a green floral tail. Peppery & sweet finish. Decent oktoberfest but not enough tastiness (umami) that the style needs for my tastes.
