Tasted on tap at the brewpub 10/25/2008. This amber ale pours a light amber color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malts and sweet. A medium bodied amber. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nicely balanced, with good carbonation. A not too sweet, not very hoppy amber. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours an amberish fresh penny color. Sweet caramel and honey aroma, with a bit of herbal hoppiness. Bright fruit flavors on the palate, with a medium bodied caramel malt background. A hint of nuttiness in the finish. Not bad at all.

3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is sweet with caramel notes and fruit. Appearance is clear copper gold with a very low white head. Flavor is earthy and sweet, with light bready notes and moderate bittering. Mouthfeel is low/medium bodied with medium carb texture. Overall, not too bad, but lacking complexity.

Draught sample at brewery. Mild malty aroma, caramel and biscuit. Light fruity hops. Reddish amber clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with good caramel grain sweetness. Light brown sugar, good hoppy finish with nutty bitterness although a bit chalky. Bit of fruity tannic tang, with bitter after.

On Tap at the brewpub Clear slightly redish light amber with a small off white head, and traces of lacing. Sweet woody malt flavor and lively carbonation. Low hops and lacking any real bitter trailer.
