Served nitro at the brewpub. Smells like Guinness but tastes much better. Plenty of dark malts with chocolate, dust, and some coffee. Silky smooth out of the nitro tap.

Dark brown with a nice firm head. Notes of toasty malt, cocoa, and coffee. Chocolate throughout the mouthfeel with more malt and coffee on the finish.

Deep brown coloured body with a brown head that lasts forever and looks great with microbubbles. Of course, this one is nitrogenated - but it looks great! Aroma of coffee and rosated malt - very potent. Medium-bodied; Chocolate in the taste dominates the flavour at first, then mellowing out with some coffee and roasted malt flavours. Overall, a nice beer - good throughout and showing a lot of character. I sampled this beer on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s Brewpub in Tampa (Ybor City), Florida on 10 November 2007.

Draft @ TB Brewing: Pours a very dark pour with a thin, sticky, creamy white/tan head-- classic nitro. Aroma is some scalded milk, roasted chocolate malts, coffee. Flavor is burnt coffee, dark chocolate, and a huge roasted character. As it warms a strong molasses flavor is present. Great, dry finish that clings to the palate. Would definitely drink again.

Had on tap at the brewery. Another beautiful pour. Dark with nice creamy head. Smell of strong roasted coffee and nuts. Flavor was the same. Love the rat, by the way!!!

Excellent stout on tap at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company in Ybor City. Dark as night and thick to the eye. Great dark roasted flavors of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Nice frothy head. So good I had two.

On tap at TBBC. Pours a deep brown with a medium bubbly tan head that left some lacing. Aroma of coffee grinds, dark chocolate, vanilla, cappucino and nuts. Flavor was a nice mix of the same...reminded me of a coffee milk shake.

[936-20071206] Tap @ Tampa Bay Brewpub (Tampa, FL). Coffee malt roast aroma. Dark brown black body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head. Flavour has lots of bitter chocolate and old coffee grains. Full body. Weird bitter coffee notes.
