Had on tap at the brewpub. Very sweet with a nice touch of malt, but mainly quite sweet and even a hint of alcohol.

POurs deep copper brown with a light head. Sweet notes of malt and fruit drive a mouthfeel of nuts and sweet chocolate.

On tap at TBBC. Pours a generally clear dark mahogany color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, ripe dark fruit, light toffee and earthiness. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of carmel, ripe dark fruit, some light toffee and bready notes. Generally medium body with a malty finish.

Dark amber with a short head. Smells of toasted malts with a little chocolate. Sweet honey flavor and some floral hops to balance the sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden. Smooth and crisp, nicely carbonated throughout. Not too heavy-bitter finish.

Dark gold-amber. Breadcrusty nose with light caramel. Caramel on the palate as well with light toffee, breadcrust and a pleasing insistent peat note. Good body. Hint of dryness late.

On tap at the brewpub in Tampa Bay. Poured a clear amber/red color with a thin off white head. The aroma was basically just caramel, but a few earthy notes were present as well. The flavor was smooth, with caramel, toffee and an earthy finish. A medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. I enjoyed this one, and the 7% was almost transparent.

on tap-pours a light tan head that laces and copper color. Aroma is mild medium malt. Taste is rich medium malt-caramel/slight toffee, peat, secondary earthy hops, balances nicely. Fill side of medium body.
