| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Deep amber coloured body with a ruby tint and a very thin white head. Aroma of pit fruits and a decent amount of malt. Full-bodied; Strong as hell with alcohol and malt more noticeable than anything else. Aftertaste shows the pit fruit flavours, along with apricots and a bunch of malt. Overall, a good Barley Wine for a brewpub, since I usually don’t see this style at a Brewpub! Worth trying if it’s in season! I sampled this beer on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s Brewpub in Tampa (Ybor City), Florida on 10 November 2007.
