Pours dark reddish brown with a small tan head, leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee, chocolate, some vanilla, earthy. Flavour lets it down quite a bit. Fresh hoppy finish. Not bad, but nothing special. As expected, a bit thin.

Bottle. Clear, dark amber colored. Head rapidly transforms to a beige ring sticking to the glass. Rustic aroma of wilderness and farmyard. Taste is slight sweet dark malts, sour/unripe berries, with hints of bitter chocolate. Rather light-bodied. Long, sourish and light bitter end.
