Alround rating: Honey is key, peppery hop, pale malts, boring stuff to be honest iv had it like 300 odd times by now. Sigmund (2004), Hafrsfjord, Norway Aug 31, 2008 500 ml brown bottle, thanks to oh6gdx and chris o. ABV is 4.3%. Golden brownish colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Floral aroma with distinct notes of heather and honey. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty but also earthy, notes of honey but not too much, and there is a distinct hoppy and resinous bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Quite interesting beer. ante (2571), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 29, 2008 Bottled at Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy golden colour with a low white foam. Quite sharp aroma of hay-like and orangey hops. Fruity and rather hoppy flavour of mandarin, honey, soil and orange-peels. Long bitter finish of orange-peels and resin. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 28, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden, small head. Hay-like hop aroma. Medium sweet with with rounded mouthfeel. Chewy husky malt with traces of lemon. Growing resiny bitterness. The honey is not very evident, which is a good thing.
