Soft roast-malt character with distinctive fruity notes and hints of chocolate; moderately roasty and slightly fruity finish with notes of liquorice and a well-hidden alcoholic strength. Very pleasant. The roastiness is mild so it makes it quite neckable. Good body, bit of spice, bit of dark fruit, hint of chocolate. Better porters out there but not bad at all.
