0,5 l bottle, bought at the brewery and taked away.Nice appearance with a pale golden body and a half-cm white lacing head. Aroma of malt, some straw, sourish yeast, minimal caramel. Fine malt in the body with a lively carbonation, some citrus and hop in the finish.

My Bottom Line:
This cuddly Helles knows how to please with its deft balance of spicy, herbal hops and straw-like sweet pils malts. Yet another fine Viennese unfiltered Helles.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A towering head of sticky foam decorates the misty pale blond.
-The generous mouthfeel is truly pleasant.
-The spicy hops provide enjoyable bitterness and even citrusy notes.
-Carbonation is quite active, yet never overwhelms the malt flavors.

On tap at the brewpub.

Draught at the brewpub.
Pale golden coloured, small white head, fresh hoppy nose. Lively carbonation. Malty, bitterish hoppy, bready and barnyard taste with dry salty finish. Boring.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange colour. Big plasticky white head. The flavour has OK grain flavour, not sour. Quite mild, very late bitterness, slightly rough.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear yellow - white head. Just a Helles. White bread, egg, light hoppy, light cardboard, medium carbonated.

Fresh, light hoppy aroma. Fresh, light malty Helles. Light astringent finish with dry hop notes. Medium bitter finish. Good drinkable but nothing special.
