The appearance is nice with a deep golden, hazy body and a stable creamy off white head. But the aroma and flavor are both unbalanced....Acidic and straw, some unpleasant sesame taste. I am dissapointed because other beers of the brewpub were both delicious and fine... heavy (869), Split, Croatia

It poured a clear, deep golden body with medium sized head. Malty nose, a bit of skunk cornflakes, typical for Märzens. Interestingly, flavor shows hopiness, mostly orange or grassy, with just slight honey maltiness. Bitter, with medium body thickness. Nice long and bitter finish with occasional hints of cardboard. Fine beer from this brewpub, and definitely interesting example of this Austrian style. ogivlado (3095), Zagreb, Croatia

Malty, grassy hops and cereals with notes of orange and pepper. Quite dry and bitter finish. Doggythedog (1601), Split, Croatia

Poured a murky honey orange body with a thick medium-big white head that went away a bit slowly. Nose dominated by honey, some perfumey orange, almost cornflakes (no corn though). The taste then surprised me by being bitter and dry, with orange (hop) taking over. Just a bit soapy. Bitter hop aftertaste. Yup, this is definitely a good beer. I even feel like I’m underrating it a little. MartinT (5075), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Crisp toastiness leads to a trail of honey and herbal hops in this nimble and efficient Märzen.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A mountain of foam soars above the misty pale golden amber.
-Effervescence is soft and increases drinkability.
-Herbal hops contribute a little bitterness, but it remains subtle.
-This is a simple recipe, but it is well-rendered and serves its purpose very nicely, like all Wieden beers I had that day.

Crisp malt aroma, with some grassy hops and a touch of hay. Flavour had some fruit, a hint of caramel, orange peel and a long dry finish. My favourite example of this style to date - great stuff.
