Draught at the brewpub, 11.6°P
Hazy brown color. Creamy head. The aroma, though not too strong, shows some roasted malt, as well as the flavor. It reminds me a modern, Scandinavian Stout, dry; surely not a Dunkel. Unexpected, yet not badly brewed.

0,5 l bottle, bought at the brewpub. The beer called simple Dunkles and has a 4,5% abv, but after the taste i think this is the right place because of the style. It has a nice appearance with a deep ruby body with a 1cm-high foamy beige head. Fine sourish aroma of roasted malt and some toasted caramel, light coffee. Smooth mouthfeel with a well balanced roasted flavor with a mild coffee taste, fine caramel malt and nice sourish bottom-yeast. Very drinkable, well balanced beer without any big surprise.

My Bottom Line:
Toasted bread crumbs move into berry jam and light caramel in this lively and roasty bitter Czech-style Tmavé.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy tower of foam dissipates into the see-through dark brown with reddish hints.
-Wooden smoke is tasted as well, mostly in the finishing dryness.
-The nose portends some dryness.
-The end result is very drinkable, and as pleasant the U Fleku imho.

On tap at the brewpub.

Draught at the brewpub.
Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized tan head, light roasted coffee nose. Burnt malt, mild coffee and milk chocolate taste. Rather vinous finish, but all in all good dunkel.

Draught at the brewpub. Mild roasted aroma. Dark brown colour, seems cloudy. Stable plasticky light brown head. Good roasted flavour, mostly like fresh coffee. Lumpy mouthfeel from the head. Hint of mild vinous malt in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep, dark brown with reddish hints and a big, tan head. Big aromas of burnt malts, prunes and treacle. Flavour started sweet, before some doughiness, roasted notes and dusty hops, leading to a dry finish. Great stuff.

Draught at the brewpub. dark burned brown (red glow) - offwhite head. Offwhite head. Burned, dark burned bread, light sweetness, licorice, berries, chocolate. Very nice and drinkable. More like a schwartzbier than a dunkel.

Fad på brewpubben. Mørkbrun med rødlig skær og beige skum. Dufter og smager af mørkt brød, brændt, ristet malt og chokolade. God rund eftersmag som bliver hængende. Fin øl minder nok mest om en schwartzbeer.
