cognac flavoring

[Flavored - Liquor / Spirit]
For products where Cognac is used as infusion, or for soaking ingredients (such as vanilla / coffee beans), or for fortified mead / cider.
Don’t use for Cognac barrel-aging, proper barrel or soaked oak chips; use instead the tag COGNAC BA
Cognac is an aged, French grape-based brandy that usually comes with a tremendous depth of flavor. Younger cognacs often present light fruit and oak notes, with older ones blooming into lots of dried fruit and spice. Most cognac contains a blend of brandies, and is labelled according to the period of time the youngest brandy has spent aging in casks.
