For any beer calling itself Zoigl. Zoigl beer is brewed in the Oberpfalz. To this day community-owned breweries still make Zoigl using wood-fired kettles. The wort is then transferred to the brewers’ cellars where it is fermented and lagered before the beer makes its way to the “Zoiglstub’n” where it is served. Just like Kellerbier and other Franconian styles, zoiglbier is unfiltered and has an amber color.
