Beer- it’s unlike any other fine beverage the great god Dionysus ever created . It has a spirit about it that cannot be measured by aroma or head or anything the palate can reason. There is an emotion in all of us as soon as the bottle of Guinness slowly begins to pour or in the moment the PBR rushes down the beer bong or the coveting involved when another’s chocolate stout’s aroma is sensed across the room at a bar. It’s all about emotion! So that’s how I evaluate beers- not by color, creed, or head, but by the flow of emotion I feel and the emotions I sense others might feel.
