I once read a medical study that said that dark beer was good for dogs. And of course their implication was it was good for people, too. I’m all for both. But since then, Nikon, our dog has become the official beer taste tester for the family. She approaches her beer cup with a proper amount of hesitation, analysis and sniffing before imbibing-- sometimes readily and sometimes less enthusiastically—disclosing her aroma rating immediately. She’s quite the messy drinker too; half of it lands in sprinkles off her tongue on the floor, but nevertheless she seems to enjoy leading the family pack in beer tasting.
