my favorite beer style actually depends on the mood/feeling of the day.
some days, i will swear up and down that Imperial Stouts can not be beat!
others, i will swear strictly by Belgian Quad, or Belgian Strong Dark.
but the basics of it is.... 90 percent of my favorite brews are one or more of the following descriptions "dark", "thick", "foamy", "sweet" and/or "high gravity"
i am a homebrewer, and i love examining lots of different versions of the same style so i can learn as much about it as possible before creating my own recipe....sometimes,i even do a clone recipe or two before creating my own version of a particular style.
